SAMC Members,

The Northside Mustang Car Club does an annual cruise to Marble Falls.
We have been graciously invited to the event. The event will be 24-25 Aug 19.

The tentative agenda is:

Annual Northside Mustang Car Club Hill Country Overnight Cruise Preview -
- Cruise from Houston - Lunch in Cedar Park
- Out FM1431 to Marble Falls -
- Park Road 4 up to TX 29 - back to Marble Falls on FM1431 -
- Dinner Big Bear Brewery - Hotel Hampton Inn Lake Marble Falls

SAMC will coordinate with NMCC on how to meet up with them for this event
shortly. That said, if you plan to attend the event, you need to get your room
reservation taken care of as soon as possible. Note: If you dont want to
stay in Marble Falls for the evening and drive back to San Antonio, you can
do that.

They have a block of 15 rooms at the Holiday Inn Express which is across the river (lake as they call it) about a mile from the Hampton.

They have 8 double queen executive rooms for $162.00 per night & 7 King Executive Suites at $157 per night both plus tax of course and tourism tax in Texas is 13%.

If the Hampton Inn is full, the other hotels in the area are in very close proximity.

This year we have lined up an exciting, New Hill Country Overnight Cruise Route. We'll go about an hour past Austin to an amazing area of Texas that offers more activity interests than you can do in an entire week.

Below, please find the LINK and Instructions on making your Reservation for this year's Hill Country Overnight Cruise. The Hotel will be the "Hampton Inn Marble Falls on the Lake."

Marble Falls and the surrounding area is vacationland in Central Texas so you'll find we cannot check-in on Saturday until 3 pm & you may or may not be able to extend your stay should you decide to stay beyond Sunday as the hotel has a large group coming in on Monday staying for 2 weeks.

Reservation Cut-Off is August 01, 2019 but you are encouraged to make your reservation as soon as possible - there are 24 total rooms in our room block.

Under "Find a Hotel" type in Marble Falls (you can select either selection returned)
Choose your "Arrival & Departure Dates" (mine is set for Arrival August 24 - Checking Out August 25 - if you intend to stay over, let me know, we can ask for a special rate)
Choose "Number of Rooms, Adults & Children"
Underneath that line is a RED ARROW & a Link Line that says "Add Special Rate Codes" - Click that Link
When you get the next menu in the middle block that says "Group Code" click it and you will get the option of "mca"
Click "mca" then scroll down &
Click "Find It"

The hotel will show up and a large Green Block on the Righthand side of the page will let you select the type room you need - "Hampton Inn Marble Falls - On The Lake" - Our ROOM RATE is $129 per night.

Just fill in the blanks, put in your credit card number and complete your reservation. You will receive an email confirming your reservation - if you do not, your reservation is not complete - make certain you have your "reservation number" it will show on the screen when you complete the reservation process.

We are still working to finalize restaurants. That information along with a link to the route map will be in a follow-up email.
