We will cruise-up together, as a group. We can sit at our Reserved Tables starting at 11:00am.
Please watch out for your fellow Mustangs and be aware of the multiple MPH changes through towns on the drive.

Join fellow SAMC members in our annual cruise to Opie's BBQ in Spicewood, TX!!!!
Opie's has tables reserved for 36 SAMC attendees at 11:00am in the area where we always sit (back, right side). We can have additional people attend though because there are additional tables near the reserved ones.
The Mustang Owners Club of Austin (MOCA) will be joining in the fun and will again meet up with us at Opie's. They have their own reservation and plan to be at the restaurant soon after 11:00am.
Some members of the Texas Hill Country Mustang Club may join us as well.
We'll meet at the HEB at 18140 San Pedro (281/1604) starting at 9:15am, and cruise out together at 9:30am. The 75-mile drive is estimated at over an hour, and we need time to all park and be in line when the restaurant opens at 11:00am.
Please fill-up those gas tanks prior to arriving at HEB, as they do not have a gas station.
After lunch, members are free to drive home or to join the short cruise to Iron Wolf Ranch and Distillery (101 County Rd 409, Spicewood).
Opie’s has been a carnivore’s dream since 1999! A 12-foot-long smoke pit holds pork chops, pork ribs, sausage (regular, jalapeño & jalapeño-cheese), chicken, and brisket. Dipped in our delicious, vinegar-based sauce, weighed, wrapped and placed on a cafeteria tray. Pinto Beans, bread, pickles, onions, peppers and warm sauce are included. We offer additional sides and delicious desserts to go along with your meat selection.
Opie’s is housed in a metal building with several pit cookers and a couple of pit servers out front. The ambience is friendly and focused on food.
