Reminder of this week's Club events (register through SAMustang.com's calendar page): 
 
 
1) THURSDAY, 7/18/20 - SAMC member dinner at Ay Chiwawa Mexican Restaurant (1615 Hwy 1604, 78232) -- 5:30pm arrival / 6-8:00pm dinner -- There is still seating available  **Register your attendance on our website (max seating is 35 people). 
 
 
 
2) SATURDAY, 7/20/24 - SAMC cruise to the Original Black's BBQ in Lockhart -- **Note that start time and 1st stop location have both changed.  We have also added an optional 3rd stop.  **Register your attendance on our website.  Prior to the event, all registrants will receive an email from me with additional information and directions. 

Meet at HEB (18140 San Pedro Ave - 1604/281) at 7:30-7:45am, we'll have a driver's meeting, and will roll-out at 8:00am  
 

*Stop #1 - Valero Convenience Store, 9455 Ranch Road 12, Wimberley, TX 78676

Arrive Approx. 8:45am – 45 miles from start – 20-minute Refuel/Rest Stop

(some maps show it as San Marcos, TX 78666 because the property is on the border line between the two cities) 

Depart 9:05am from Valero
 

*Stop #2 – The Original Black’s Barbecue, 215 North Main Street, Lockhart, TX 78644  

Arrive Approx. 9:35am - 30 miles from Valero  

  

*Optional Stop #3 – Chaparral Coffee & Bodega – Arrive around 11-11:30am

After eating at Black’s Barbeque Restaurant, we’ll head over to Chaparral Coffee @ 106 E. Market Street, Lockhart, TX 78644.  

It’s only a couple of blocks down N. Main Street, turn left on E. Market Street and Chaparral Coffee is on the right. 

Located on the historic downtown square across from the beautiful Caldwell County Courthouse, Chaparral Coffee has been voted Caldwell County’s Best Coffee and offers more than just the best coffee and vibe in town. 

They have espresso, iced tea, Italian soda, pastries, and much more.  

This is a great photo-op if you park with the Courthouse behind your Mustang.
